Drummond Ranches lie in the South Eastern Lowveld of Zimbabwe at approximately 750m above sea level. The area is 95000 acres in extent and the dominant vegitation type is mixed Mopani and Acacia thornveld.

The area is covered with large granite hills providing ideal habitat for Leopard and adding to the many different habitat types. Klipspringer and Hyrax are also abundant in these hills. Two large rivers flow through the property providing lush, thick riparian vegitation for species such as Buffalo, Bushbuck, Kudu, Waterbuck, Warthog and Bushpig. Both rivers are dammed providing beautiful lakes for recreation and angling. Hippo and Crocodile are also common in these lakes.

Between the rivers and hills there are more open plains where large herds of Zebra and Wildebeest roam. Elephant, Eland, Impala and Giraffe are also found in large numbers here. The many activities (hunting and photographic safaris, hiking, angling, game drives, cultural tours, conference facilities) available make it an ideal destination for family vacations and corporate events.

There is a 1100m gravel airfield available making charter flights convenient.

The nearest international airport is in Bulawayo, a 3 hr drive north.
